Margaret Weaver
Margaret Weaver, of the Tacony section of Philadelphia, passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of Francis J. Weaver, and cherished mother of Shawn Weaver (Marguerite), Stephen Weaver, Wendy Weaver (Dennis McClernand), and the late Brian Weaver (Lisa) and Eric Weaver.
Margaret was a devoted grandmother to 9 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend Margaret’s visitation and prayer service at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc., 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) on Saturday, May 31st, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. A prayer service will follow at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
Mrs Weaver was a wonderful friend and neighbor to our family for over 45 years. She always took the time to say hello and ask how you were doing. She was a devoted mom to 5 children and worked full time. I admired her. She will be missed. My condolences to the Weaver family. Sissy Hockel Carroll
Margie has been my friend for almost 80 years. Many happy memories, playing hop scotch, monopoly and many more with Margie and Ruth. I miss our monthly lunch. Rest in peace my friend.. 💔
