Aunt Alice was my godmother and a truly special person. These last couple years we became even closer and she was so helpful with my family after the loss of my dad. She would just call to check on everyone even though I know she was having a difficult time herself . I will never forget our phone calls or her. She holds a very special place in my heart forever ♥️ To Uncle Ed and Lori Anne, and Alice and the family my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you all.

Mrs. Lane was always kind and welcoming to her daughter's friends during high school and beyond. Whenever I saw her at family events, block parties or pool parties in later years she made a point to not only ask how I was but also asked about friends who had moved away. She was genuinely interested in making people feel welcome. Her warmth and kindness will be missed. Rest in peace.

My deepest wishes of sympathy to Ed and the family on Alice’s passing. She was a best friend from the time I met her 25+ years ago. We have stayed in constant touch through the years and are the same age. Many years ago, we went to Niagara Falls, Canada, together. These last few months have been very trying for Alice medically. She loved her family SO much and so proud of everyone. I will miss my dear friend but know we will see each other again. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time. ❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️

I grew up across the street from Mrs Lane and her girls were my friends. We spent so much time together. I remember her very cool yellow convertible, they had the game Pong and I thought that was so cool. She sat on the stoop with all the ladies while we all played at night. She was always a big part of my day. She will be missed.

Alice and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. We went to grade school together , walking up and down Levick Street for lunch and home. She loved my mother’s Italian food. So sorry for the Lanes loss.

I love Mrs. Lane and have nothing but the fondest of memories. She was the nicest of people and always gave from her heart. I'll never forget her kindness and her willingness to treat everyone with respect. She helped me grow up and mature. She always made me feel at home and offered the best advice. I am a better person because she touched my life. I am grateful for having met her. Mrs. Lane, may heaven be filled with Stella D'oro swiss fudge cookies! Thank you for being you!
