I have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Bobby, but what I'll always remember most is the time we spent researching our family history together. She loved helping me solve family mysteries and figure out who was who in old pictures. Whenever Cousin Dawn and I were stumped, I'd call Aunt Bobby, and she'd do her best to identify everyone, sharing stories about the people and the memories behind those photos. I also treasure our adventures searching for family plots at the cemetery and the many conversations we shared over the years. As I got older, I came to appreciate those talks even more and how much she loved sharing our family's history and her stories with me. I'm going to miss her very much. I'm grateful for the time we shared and for the love she had for family.

I remember one time when I was really young, I believe I had to be at least 12 or 13. We had gone to the Golden Corral buffet. I remember sitting next to David and Alyssa, and grandma was across from me. I had a plate of sushi and I was talking to Alyssa and David, when I turned back to grab my sushi it was gone!!! Alyssa and David had laughed and I had thought they’d taken kt so I said “where’s my sushi?” And grandma looks up at me with this big ol’ smile on her face with her hands folded and said “I took it a put it in my purse for later” and we all just laughed.
