Writing Dear Ms. Davina, First, I want to send my deepest condolences to you and your family. I love you, Mom. Tymair and I met when we were 11 years old, and we became friends instantly. Tymair had a smile that could brighten your day when you were feeling down, and he could make you laugh until your stomach hurt when you were sad. We did everything together—from boxing and basketball to watching our daughters play together like family, because that’s exactly what we were. We often talked about prospering in life, becoming better men, and making our families proud. That’s exactly what Tymair did. He was one of the best fathers I have ever known, and the love he had for his daughters was truly special. I’m deeply hurt that I don’t have my Ace here with me anymore—to talk about our problems, our dreams, what we were going to accomplish in life, or simply to share a good laugh. I will forever cherish the memories, conversations, and brotherhood we shared. I pray that you are at peace, my brother. I love you into infinity. I also want you to know that I will always have love for your mother and your beautiful daughter. Until we meet again, my brother. Peace & Love, Forever.

Dear Tymir’s Mom, My heart is so heavy as I write this letter. I want you to know how deeply I loved Tymir and how much he meant to me and my family. You gave this world a wonderful young man, and I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to love him and be a part of his life. Tymir and my son Brandon were great friends. Their friendship eventually made Tymir part of our family. I will never forget the day Brandon came to me and said, “Mom, Tymir is getting ready to get kicked out of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School because he doesn’t live in the district. Can he stay with us until he graduates?” Without hesitation, I said, “Sure, Brandon.” I opened my home to Tymir, but it wasn’t long before he took over my heart too. That beautiful smile of his could light up an entire room. I fed him, cared for him, worried about him, encouraged him, and loved him just like he was one of my own. In my heart, Tymir became my third son. After my Brandon was killed, Tymir continued to be there for me and for my daughter Taylor, whom he loved like his little sister. That meant more to me than I could ever put into words. Losing Brandon left a hole in our family, and Tymir’s love and presence reminded us that Brandon’s friendships and love continued to live on. I was also so proud of the man and father Tymir became. He loved his children, and it was beautiful to see him step into fatherhood. He was a great father, a loyal friend, and someone who touched so many lives. People will remember his smile, his heart, his friendship, and the way he made them feel when he walked into a room. As a mother who knows the unbearable pain of losing a son, my heart is with you in a way that words cannot fully explain. I wish neither one of us ever had to know this kind of pain. Please know that when you think about all the people who loved your son, I am one of them. I did not give birth to Tymir, but I loved him as a son. I will always be thankful that Brandon brought him into my life and said, “Mom, can Tymir stay with us?” Neither Brandon nor I could have known then just how much that one moment would change my life. Now my Brandon and Tymir are both gone, but the love, memories, laughter, and bond they left behind will remain with me forever. Thank you for sharing your son with this world. Thank you for raising a young man who became such a special part of my family. Tymir will forever be my third son, and I will carry him in my heart for the rest of my life. With all my love and deepest sympathy, Lisa Dixon Brandon’s Mom — and forever one of Tymir’s moms at heart

To Ms. Davina and family: Tymir was truly the epitome of “give people their flowers” as he always shared his gratitude for you and expressed his appreciation for his teachers and loved ones. I got to know him while working at PWHS, and he kept in touch over the years, to share his accomplishments and his joy in having daughters. His bright smile, always polite, kind, respectful, intelligent, funny and a loving young man. This is such a loss for the world! And especially for all of you in his inner circle. Ms. Davina, he would speak so highly of your love, support and encouragement. I am deeply saddened by his loss. And I share my sincere condolences and love as you navigate this pain.

You will truly be missed. Our hearts are heavy. I will miss hearing you come into saying , “Hey Mrs. Cyn/ Ma”. We will continue to pray for your Mom and little girls as they need the most strength, love and support. I pray you are at peace.

Tymir and I would sit in my car with our Bibles to the wee hours of the morning and just read and discuss the stories. That was one of my favorite past times with him. He would pull out that highlighter and that pen, and get to it. He was so intelligent but not only that, God graced him with wisdom to know the truth. Tymir understood the mysteries of God’s word without having to have it broken down and that amazed me, but I also knew that Holy Spirit ministers to His children. Tymir was God’s child and a special one. You can see it through the children he had. You could see it with the type of mind he had. Through his conviction. He at his core was a God fearing child of God who loved his children and his mother. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved. He left an unforgettable mark on us all. I am blessed to be able to share part in this. God in His divine wisdom allowed Tymir and I to have Alivia. I look at her and see his face and see that this is God’s perfect design as well. I am thankful to Tymir and Miss Davina who have opened their doors to me as a young woman and have always answered every call that I made. I am thankful to have experienced him in this lifetime. The Gould girls will carry this legacy on. Show the grit he had, the intelligence, the heart, the charisma, and so much more. We Thankyou God that we are able to grieve in such a magnitude, it shows the magnitude of life and love Tymir carried.

I’m still trying to process all of this. I honestly can’t believe this is real, and that this is our new reality.love on your people. Show up and show out when and wherever you can, because sometimes just telling someone you love them isn’t enough. Be there. Check on them. Make the call. Show up. Don’t hold grudges, and don’t let anger or your emotions get the best of you, because you never know when that might be the last opportunity you have to make things right. That kind of guilt can stay with you forever, and unfortunately, that’s something I’ve had to learn the hard way.Tymir will truly be missed, and he was truly loved. If love could have saved him, he would still be here with us today. It breaks my heart because you truly never know the battles someone is facing. Tymir was always smiling and joking. He was the kind of person who could make you laugh without even trying.Every time I dropped TT off or picked her up, there was nothing but laughter. He was always cracking jokes and being himself. We may not have always seen eye to eye, and we definitely had our moments, but when it came to doing something for our child all of that went out the window. We showed up as one because our child always came first. Tymir was someone who genuinely wanted the best for me. He gave me some of the best advice, and there were things he would say to me that I didn’t always want to hear, but I knew they came from a place of love. And one thing I will always remember is how much he loved his babies. He loved his children deeply, and they will grow up knowing that. They will be reminded every day of how much their father loved them, how much he cared about them, and how proud he was of them.To know Tymir was to love him. He will be remembered for the laughter, the jokes, the memories, the love, and the impact he had on the people around him.Tymir, you will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be a part of your children’s lives through the memories and love you left behind. Rest peacefully. You will never be forgotten.Love you forever and always.
