Timothy M. Barth, Sr.

Timothy Michael Barth Sr. was born in Philadelphia, PA, and sadly passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the age of 40. At such a young age, Timmy was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer just 3 months prior to his passing. For his short time he knew he had left, he was an amazement to us. Timmy worked various jobs throughout his life, taking different opportunities and doing what he could along the way, although he never settled into one particular career. As Tim got older he was more of a private person who enjoyed the comfort of home and keeping to himself and family. He had his own way of doing things and lived life on his own terms, all the way up to the end. Tim was a die-hard Eagles fan who loved his team through thick and thin. He enjoyed being on DraftKings, having fun keeping his childhood alive by walking around the house doing his little freestyle rap, playing his Call of Duty on PlayStation, loved to cook and try different things in the kitchen. Browsing the flea market became a favorite at the end to get out and enjoy some fresh air while seeing people he hasn’t seen in years, not letting his sickness stop him. Anyone who knew Tim probably remembers him saying his favorite phrase “Put a Band-Aid on It.” Did you just hear him?

Above all Timmy was a loving father to his three beautiful children, Timothy Michael Barth Jr., Natalie Elizabeth Barth, Brittnei-Grace Kathleen Barth, who were the most important part of his life. Our grandchildren, you always remember that.

He shared over 21 years of love and life with his soulmate, the mother of his three children, Alyssa Hoxsie who stood by his side and shared so many memories, experiences, and years together till the very end.

He leaves behind his parents, Mother Lisa (Barth) Whalen and Frank Whalen, Father Moises Padilla, and Gerri Flynn, who will miss him and keep memories of him alive.

Timmy has more siblings than the Eagles have players on the football field during game time. He is survived by 15 brothers and sisters, Frankie, Regina (Matt), Richie, Melanie, Anthony (Laquana), Nick, Christian, Amber, Nicole, Gianna, Kevin, Lea, Kylee, and Adam. Tim was preceded in death by his baby sister Brittney Nichole Whalen whose memory will always be cherished.

Tim is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that if we wrote them all the list would never end.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 from 9:30 am–11:00 am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. at 6711 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19135 (between Unruh and Knorr Streets). There will be a prayer service starting at 11:00 am. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in Tim’s memory to Pennsylvania SPCA.

Timmy is now our Philadelphia Eagle Flying High in the Sky!

I remembered seeing Tim at various flea markets while my wife and were vendors at. As mentioned, he definitely loved the Philadelphia Eagles a lot. In fact, there was a time that my wife and I were selling stuff at a flea market and the topic of the Eagles came up. We introduced ourselves to each other. Tim was absolutely an amazing person. His outgoing personality is what made him who he truly was. To his significant other, children, and many siblings; my wife Denise and I are truly sorry for your loss.

My Nephew Timmy was very special to me in many ways He had a kind heart and would do anything to help someone in need. I was with his Mother in the delivery room and seen him born. What a beautiful baby boy so much dark brown hair I always looked at Timmy like a second son to me. My son and Timmy were very close cousins .They would hang out together and write songs. He always showed me respect never ever disrespect me . He used to tell me how much he loved me. I will always and forever remember him. My heart is broken 💔 but I know Timmy isn't suffering anymore. He suffered a lot and went through so so much in that short amount of time before he left us Rest in peace 🕊️ you will never be forgotten and will always be in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏
