Shane Fritz passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 28.
Shane was the beloved son of Lisa Fritz and Jose Rivas; loving brother of Eric Fritz (Emily), Briana Rivas (Jose), and Aiden Rivas; and cherished grandson of Kathleen Simpson, the late Martin Fritz, Marilyn Rivas, June Martinez, and Jose Cruz.
He was the dear nephew of Michelle Fritz, Martin Fritz, Joseph Fritz, Manuel Dejesus, and Alexandra Dejesus.
Shane will also be deeply missed by his four nephews, one niece, many cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
Family and friends are invited to attend Shane’s viewing and funeral on Tuesday October 13th, at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts.) . You may visit and comfort Shane’s family from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm in the funeral home. The funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
