Roy F. DeBoin, Jr.

Roy F. DeBoin, Jr., of the Tacony section of Philadelphia, sadly passed away on July 22, 2022, at age 44. Loving father of Roy F. DeBoin, III and Gaige DeBoin. Loving son of Joni DeBoin and the late Roy F. DeBoin, Sr. Sadly missed by his brother Tim DeBoin (Jen), Uncle of Tim, Jr., Mason and Mariah. Also survived by the mother of his children, Dorian Peccari, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, family and friends who became his family, Roach and Kayla.

Roy was a Tacony guy through and through, anyone that knew him knew that he loved Tacony and loved living on Knorr St. He loved to fish, have a catch with his sons, chime in on his son and nephew playing video games or just sit on the stoop and chat with people from the neighborhood. He had a big personality, loved to drive his mother crazy sometimes but most of all loved his family.
Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Roy’s life on Friday, August 5th, at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts) You may visit and comfort Roy’s family during the visitation from 9:30am – 11:00am in the funeral home. There will be a eulogy service at 11:00am. Burial will be held in private by his family.
