Ray Hernandez Jr.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ray Hernandez Jr. age 34. He passed on July 15, 2026.
Ray was born in Philadelphia on June 4, 1992. He is survived by his beloved daughters; Dasani, Amber, Sophia; his stepchildren, Hector and Sanayah; the mother of his children Abneris; his father, Ray Sr. and stepmother Ana; his grandmother Carmen, his mother Aileen; his brothers, Eduardo, and David; along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his love, laughter, and unforgettable personality.
Ray lived life with a free spirit and a big heart. He worked as a landscaper, and most notably in auto detailing, where he took pride in making every vehicle shine. If you knew Ray, you knew his love for nice cars, loud music, dirt bikes, and ATVs. He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed every chance he got to be outdoors or behind the wheel.
Although Ray faced many challenges and struggles throughout his life, he was not defined by those though times. Ray was real, he was outspoken, and always himself. He had a way of making people laugh and leaving an impression that could never be forgotten. Those who knew him best know that beneath his tough exterior was a man with a caring heart who loved deeply and fiercely.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories he gave us—the laughter, the music, the rides, the conversations, and the love. His legacy lives on through his children and everyone blessed enough to have known him.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
