Patty was one of my closest friends. I would fo so far as to say she was family. In fact when she would convince me to call any Dr. Appt or nurses aid program or Comcast or anything that involved Indonesian or Indian call centers she would always insist :You talk to them Chris because I'm your aunt patty - who doesn't have the patience to talk to the computers and can't deal with the non Americans. Never learned or wanted to to text either and always told me the phone is on the fritz beeping at me again.Fix it please. I was always welcomed in her home and relieved like a long lost friend. She would always call me up to visit because she hated to be alone. Her and I shared a lot in common with the perspective of the world falling into hell and our lives like everyone else not being what it could be. I remember shortly after I met her she had this excitement to go back to church since we would talk theology and wanting to know God. So I was able to finagle her into my vehicle across the backseat and used a lyft at the church to get her there. They were gracious and sat us in the front of the congregation with a stool for her left hand even brought us waterbottles. First class treatment. I just remember her asking me to drive around holmsburg to see old spots and reminisce. She would point out all the families jobs or buildings and I got the whole tour. She was so special and with my family in other states she would invite me for every holiday and cookout and basically adopted me. I was real sad when I saw her house empty the other day because of the roommates she had and loved?, all their stuff was gone and I don't think that's right considering they were the ones taking care of her when I wasn't around and when i was . Now her roommates like jad lost his tools, Tony lost a number of possessions. And my other friend lost half of her possessions, and her children's, not to mention her home. No notice no consideration.Life is never easy but patty brought light to all of us she loved and I miss her everyday. End of an era end of a family. God bless my friend Patty

Patty, I just spoke to you two days ago. I know that you are now in a better place. The grief is really unbelievable because we loved you so much and you went through so much but I know you’re in a better place now we will celebrate your life and the good things and your wonderful New granddaughter. We will celebrate your life Patty just the way you would like it. I love you your sister Cookie.
