Mary Kafel

Mary Kafel, formerly of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, passed away on July 15, 2026, at age 72. Beloved wife of the late, Charles Kafel. Loving sister of Yolanda Kinten, Judith Smith (the late, George), Peter Grillo and the late, Michael Gonzalez and Adam Grillo. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 28th 2:30 pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd. Newtown, Pa. Please arrive at the cemetery by 2:15 pm and follow the sign that reads “Funeral Processions”. Mary will be laid to rest with her late husband, who passed away in 2024.
