Marlane Orlandi

Marlane Orlandi, 76, passed away suddenly on September 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 10, 1950, Marlane lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to those closest to her. She will be remembered for her warm smile, caring heart, helping hand, and the special way she made everyone around her feel loved and welcome. Her pound cake, Jewish apple cake, and cookies always brought a smile.

Marlane found great happiness at the beach, where she enjoyed the sunshine, blue skies, gentle ocean breezes, warm water, music, and time spent with family and friends. Her joyful spirit was perfectly captured in the words she lovingly made her own:

“The sun is shining,
the sky is blue,
I’m sitting here sipping my brew.”

Above all, Marlane treasured her family. She was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, and friend. The love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Ben Miller; granddaughters Samantha Middleton (Ryne) and Nicole Miller (Reis); brother Perry Fostar; and sisters Elizabeth Macharyas, Cathryn Fostar, Sophie McComb (Jim), and Barbara Franco (Larry). She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Mae Fostar, and brothers John, Nicholas, and Anthony Fostar.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation for Marlane on Wednesday, September 9, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to leukemia.org, or that you honor Marlane by remembering her whenever you are at the beach.

Forever loved, forever missed, forever remembered.

Marlane was a beautiful person and a wonderful sister. She and I were very close as sisters, as well as friends. We always stayed together through many situations, and had many wonderful times growing up together. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was always giving, never wanting to take. She was kind to all and was always offering a helping hand. She will.ne dearly by those who.kmew her. We are deep in sorrow and sorely miss her. Marlane- my neighbor, and more importantly, my friend. I already miss you terribly, and don't know what I'll do without you. You have helped me through some tough times, and I love you for it. Rest in peace my friend - I will never forget you, you'll be in my heart forever 💔 I'll miss your cakes, your tears and ocean videos from the beach, your scampi- I will miss everything about you 😢
