Mark Gould

Mark Gould (1970-2024) Mark “Marky” Gould, a resident of the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia, passed away on March 31, 2024, at age 53. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 27, 1970. Mark was the third son of the late Cheryl A. (née DeFrancisco) and William P. Gould, Jr. He was raised in the Lawncrest area of Philadelphia with his siblings, Carol Hansen, William D. Gould (Margaret), and Joseph Gould (predeceased). He is also survived by his stepmother Anna Samarco, and sisters Deserie Cincotti and Ashley Schrag (Kevin). Mark was a loving father to Miriam Cruz, Mary DiBiasio and Teddi Gould, in addition to being a beloved partner and companion for over 20 years to Rosezanna Howard. Mark’s profession was a Plumber. His occupation was a big part of his life. He not only showered his friends and family with compassion and care but also his customers. Mark took pride in his work; it was what he loved to do and he was great at it. He was a kind soul who worked hard to provide and take care of his family. Mark will be sadly missed by his lifelong partner, daughters, many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, and an abundance of friends. His life will be remembered by all of those who have loved him in his life and they will continue to carry him in their hearts. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation and funeral on Thursday, April 25 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Further arrangements will be held in private by his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Society for Deaf Children or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
