Lisa Plunkett

Lisa A. Plunkett of Bensalem, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday September 12, 2026. She was 61 years old. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Willam Hoiler and Andrea (Joniec) Hoiler. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in 1983. She received her associate’s degree in science from Thomas Jefferson University in 2000. 

Undoubtedly, what most people thought of first when it came to Lisa was her caring nature. She always went to great lengths to ensure that her inner circle was taken care of, be it friends or family. Lisa was a deeply loving person who made those around her feel special. She was multi-facetted and enjoyed partaking in whatever life offered her.

Lisa worked as a Lab Technician for Jefferson Health for almost 40 years. She took great pride in her work and often assisted in the training of new hires. She juggled life as a working woman and as a mother to her two sons with grace. Lisa was an avid reader and always lived her life by following her favorite passages and excerpts. 

She was a strong woman who never backed down despite what came her way.

Lisa is survived by her husband Patrick and her sons Conor and Dylan. She was the sister of William A. Hoiler. She will be remembered fondly by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. A memorial service for Lisa will be held on Sunday September 20, 2026 at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) You may visit and comfort Lisa’s family from 12:00 noon – 1:15 pm in the funeral home. There will be a eulogy service starting at 1:15pm where stories and memories are shared by loved ones. Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of her family.
