Lawrence J. DeMarco
Lawrence Joseph DeMarco, lovingly known as Larry, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on February 22, 1960, Larry lived a life defined by faith, family, service, and dedication to others. His relationship with the Lord was the foundation of his life and guided the way he loved, worked, and served those around him. His faith was evident in his words, actions, and unwavering trust in God’s plan.
Larry proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he became a successful entrepreneur and later served as Athletic Director at Calvary Christian Academy, where he positively influenced countless students, athletes, and families through his leadership, encouragement, and genuine care for others.
Above all, Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 44 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kathleen DeMarco. Together they built a loving family that remained the center of his life. He is survived by his children, Andrew DeMarco and Mandi DeMarco; his daughter-in-law, Meghan DeMarco; and his cherished grandchildren, Ava, AJ, and Bridget, who brought him endless joy and pride. Larry is also survived by his brothers, Tom DeMarco and Danny DeMarco, and his stepsister, Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Schneider and Thomas DeMarco Sr. An avid golfer and fisherman, Larry found peace and happiness on the golf course and by the water. He treasured the friendships, laughter, and memories made while enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. Those who knew Larry will remember his positive outlook on life and the phrase he often shared with a smile: “It’s a great day to be alive.” Those words reflected the gratitude, optimism, and faith that characterized his life.
Larry will be remembered for his strength, kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and steadfast faith. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, the family he loved so deeply, and the example he set for all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, visitation from 9-11am, followed by a service starting at 11 am at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, thanksgiving, and celebration of Larry’s life and the hope he found in Christ.

Larry and I met at Meadia Heights in 2019 and started a business relationship from the #4 tee box. He was a great man and always a pleasure to work with. May he rest in peace. My condolences go to his family and friends.

My brother was also a step brother to my sister AnnaMarie Klein. She was also close to him growing up and she loved him and will miss him. We were able to visit with him together before he passed away and we still had him laughing. The three of us always laughed when we were together. We appreciate his family giving us time with him.
My brother was a good hearted and kind soul. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother He was the best brother anyone could have asked for. I am heartbroken this has happened to him and he was taken too soon. I will miss his jokes, his comical sense of humor and his laughter. He was a very special individual and I am so grateful to have him for a brother and that he came into my life.

From the very beginning, Larry and his family welcomed us with open arms, and we quickly became close friends. The memories we made together in Wildwood are some that my family and I will always cherish. Our lives are richer and better because of the time we spent with Larry and his family. He was a genuinely good man whose kindness, friendship, and warmth touched everyone around him. The world has lost a great man, but Heaven has gained one. I was saddened to hear of Larry’s passing.
I first met Larry when my family moved into the same building as his in Wildwood, NJ. From the very beginning, Larry and his family welcomed us with open arms, and we quickly became close friends. The memories we made together in Wildwood are some that my family and I will always cherish.
Our lives are richer and better because of the time we spent with Larry and his family. He was a genuinely good man whose kindness, friendship, and warmth touched everyone around him.
The world has lost a great man, but Heaven has gained one. May God bless Larry and bring comfort and peace to his family during this difficult time.
