Kenneth M. Uhrik

Kenneth M. Uhrik, of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on November 16, 2025, at age 82. Beloved husband of Eileen Uhrik (nee Rowan), loving father of Denise Uhrik Carr, devoted PopPop of Paris Keegan and Carter Keegan. Also survived by his siblings, Elaine Gentner (Louis) and David Uhrik (Lisa), sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Ken was always a kid at heart and always wanted to do anything and everything with the people he loved. More than a father figure, Kenneth was a best friend to his grandchildren, daughter, and his wife. A hardworking Air Force Veteran, Ken was always full of life, love, and passionate stories. Devoting much of his life to Pep Boys, Ken made so many beautiful connections with his community that live on with the stories he shared. He was a friend to all, and his smile and energy lit up every room he was in. Eileen and Ken shared an admirable and beautiful marriage of 58 years, making their most treasured memories square dancing together. Kenneth adored his daughter, Denise, and he was her hero, best friend, and her rock throughout all of life’s ups and downs. Ken lived his life through his grandchildren, Paris and Carter, and he never missed any milestone, game, or performance. He captured their lives together through his video camera, leaving behind everlasting memories. Kenneth M. Uhrik lived a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, stories, faith, and family, and he will forever be missed and remembered. May he forever rest in peace and with love. 

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation and funeral on Monday, November 24th in St. Timothy RC Church, 3001 Levick St. You may visit and comfort Kenneth’s family from 9:30 am – 10:30 am in church. There will be a funeral mass starting at 10:30 am. Burial will be held at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in Kenneth’s memory to Veterans Multi Services Center, 213-217 N. 4th St. Phila., Pa 19106
