Joseph Forcina

Joseph Forcina, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 64.

He was the beloved son of the late Gino Sr. and Mildred Forcina.

Joseph was a devoted father to Cheetah Montenegro-Forcina and the beloved soulmate of Bonny Kim Montenegro.He is survived by his siblings: Gino Forcina Jr. (Frances), Anthony P. Forcina, Phyllis Forcina, and Annette Willis (the late Kevin), as well as his cherished nieces and nephews: Desiree (Gary), Gino III, and Lyndsay

Joseph was truly one of a kind. He was a passionate musician—a guitarist, bassist, singer, and songwriter—and a dedicated music teacher and guitar technician. He was also skilled as a powerlifter, painter, car mechanic, and carpenter. There was very little he couldn’t do.

To me, he was so much more than all of that. He was my father, my teacher, and my best friend. In times of hardship, he was always there—not only for me, but for his family, his friends, and anyone in need. He was a constant source of strength and support, someone you could always count on.

He had a beautiful smile and a personality that was truly unforgettable. I will always be grateful for the time I had with him and for everything he taught me.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
