Born March 29, 1952, left us suddenly on September 8, 2024, at age 72, with his wife and children by his side. He was the beloved husband of Mary Jane (Urbanski), dad to John III (Amanda), Michael (Nicole), and the late Jennifer O’Connor (James Ill), and Pop Pop to James lV, Jason, Julianne, Janie, Lauren, Shane, Lauren and Daniel. Special thanks to our friends and neighbors for their support. John was an organ donor, and in lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name to The Gift Of Life, 401 N 3rd St, Phila. 19123 would be appreciated. A Memorial Mass will be held on December 3, at St Ephrem Church, (5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA.)  There will be a gathering starting at 10:30 am, followed by a Mass at 11:00 am.

When my father passed away you filled that void. I miss your wise cracks and sage advice. I could never understand why God always takes the good people. Thankfully I have great memories!! LUV YA………

I was "YO MOON" to John

He was a great friend of mine since 1974, had the pleasure to work with him and hang out also.. I miss hearing him breaking my stones..he was a character, but a great guy...

I miss our chats almost every morning giving me an update from the newspaper you read and going over the horse racing field to pick the winners. Caring, friendly and funny are but a few words that sum up your spirit. You were a great friend that will be surly missed by family friends and anyone who met you. It was never goodbye John but until we meet again.

I can’t even begin to explain the void that is left in the family. Fifty years of laughter, and some tears in between. A lot of great memories which I thank you for. Definitely gone too soon. Love you John.
