James Joseph Morrin
James Joseph Morrin, 77 – of Somers Point, NJ and Philadelphia, PA passed away on April 18, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia to James F. and Rita Morrin (née: Endres). “Big Jim” loved his family, fishing, driving, Eagles football, and his beloved Jersey Shore. A brave U.S. Navy veteran, he served as a Sailor on the USS Little Rock. He then enjoyed decades of dedicated service as a longtime New Jersey Transit bus driver, based initially out of Wildwood and later Egg Harbor Township. He is survived by his adored sons Jim and Dave; his dear grandchildren Jaden, Jayce, and Jayde; his treasured siblings Bill (Liz), Kathy (Bruce), Pat, and Rita; sister-in-law Nancy; and many grateful nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He is predeceased by his three cherished partners Mary, Judy, and Kathy; and his dear brother Joe. A private memorial service will be held in Ocean City, NJ to celebrate Jim’s impactful life, eternal love, and prized one-of-a-kind sense of humor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks anyone interested to instead make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
