Frances C. Yost, of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, formerly of Brooklyn N.Y., sadly passed away August 6, 2023, at the age of 84. Loving wife of the late John L. Yost. Beloved mother of Mary Swallow (Terry), John Yost (Mia), Robert Yost and the late Patricia Yost. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Yost, Robert Yost (Lillian), Terry Swallow Jr., Maximus and Michael Yost and Michael Swallow as well as one great-granddaughter on the way, Lydia Yost. She is preceded in death by her brother, William Dunbar. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Frances’ life on Wednesday evening, August 9th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. There will be another viewing in the funeral home on Thursday morning, August 10th from 8:00am – 9:00am. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning, 10:00am St. Bernard’s R.C.
