Hi I’m aunt Betsy’s niece and one time we went to the zoo and we had a great time. I wish there was more to tell but there is so many memories I have with her I don’t have the time 💜

Betsy was so very special to our family, a big sister to some, a second mother to some and our mom’s best friend. She was always there for us, she helped us more than she ever knew. She was loved and will be missed. Jay was lucky to have her as his mom and our hearts ache for him.

Betsy was my third sister . She was always at my house and when I was younger, I thought she was really my sister. She was special to me and all of my family. I have the 4 orange cups that her, my mom, Rosie, and Aunt Edna drank coffee out of the every day

I tell this story a few times a year but here goes I think 1973 and I’m 10 or 11 and Betsey takes me to a ball game We would always get a program. As the teams are warming up I look in the back of the program and see possible future stars from triple A There he is Michael J Schmidt I turn to Betsey and say wouldn’t it be cool if he became a good player some day Who knew he would become the best third baseman ever
