Sending my deepest condolences to everyone in the family. Ed or pop pop as my daughter and I called him will be greatly missed. He was The Best Grandfather my daughter could have had. He was always present, loving and supportive throughout the milestones in her life. I remember his kindness and sense of humor and will personally miss his laugh. Although I'm filled with sadness, I know pop pop is happy and healthy in God's house. I pray that everyone finds peace and the strength needed to get through this difficult time.

Ed was a good man and one of my mother‘s favorites. I’ll never forget how she expressed her love for him by helping him find a car so that he could have transportation to get around. It was an old late 1960s Ford galaxy 500. Maroon and color with one of the largest engines in a car at that time. Ed drove that car many years and when it was time for him to get a new car, he turned it in to my brother Allen so that he would have a car to drive. It was great to see Ed attend and speak at our family reunions. Sincere condolences to Connie, there was a love supreme, and his children and grandchildren.

Rest in peace, Uncle Ed. On behalf of our Mom, your Sister (who preceded you in death), Pearl Louise Hamilton! Thank you for your service! Uncle Ed was always kind, funny, and a gentle voice. When my 2nd daughter was born Uncle Ed asked me her name.. I said “Alana”. Uncle Ed said “I love that name!”
