Edith May Kerr, of Croydon PA, born on October 24, 1937 and sadly passed away September 5, 2023, at the age of 85. She is predeceased by her father Conver Hess, her mother, Laura McCorkle, her brother, Constance Hess and her best friend, Anne. Wife of the late Alfred Kerr. Loving mother of Mark Cook, Linda Mooney (Daniel P.) and the late Debbie Lynn Cook. Cherished grandmother of Vinnie Cook, Robert Schofield, Cole Schofield, Mark Cook Jr., Laura Cook, Daniel J. Mooney and Lindsay May Mooney. She is also survived by her cousin Barbara as well as several other cousins, nieces and nephews. Edith and her husband Alfred, both retired early and moved to their dream house that they built in Dushore PA, for 25 years of their lives. They loved the scenic views, overlooking the mountains and looking out at the wildlife together. Edith ended her years at Silver Lake Nursing Home in Bristol, PA. A special thanks to the staff at Silver Lake and to her roommate, Annamarie Gorski for being a friend and helping Edith in times of need. Edith will be remembered for being strong willed and living a good life. She will be missed.
