Dwight Everage
In Loving Memory of Dwight Everage
Dwight Everage, 45, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, October 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Dwight was the beloved husband of Katie Lanzara and the devoted father of Jade, Joshua, Nia, and Naomi. His children were the center of his world, and he dedicated his life to nurturing their growth and guiding them toward a bright and successful future. His greatest joy was watching his children grow, flourish, and become the best versions of themselves.
Dwight worked for Amtrak as an electrical lineman, a job he performed with pride and dedication. He approached his work and every aspect of his life with honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
In addition to his beloved wife and children, Dwight leaves to cherish his memory his father, James Lewis; his mother, Lydia Everage; his many siblings; and a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were made better by knowing him.
Dwight was a kind, thoughtful, and generous man whose life was defined by strong values, integrity, and a genuine concern for others. He was well-liked and respected by all who knew him because of his positive energy, warm, gentle spirit, and the kindness he extended to everyone he encountered. His incredible patience and willingness to lend a helping hand were among his most admirable qualities. Whether offering his time, sharing his wisdom, or supporting others during difficult moments, Dwight gave freely and without hesitation. His actions reflected the goodness of his heart and his sincere commitment to others’ well-being
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, Dwight’s legacy will endure through the lives he touched, the lessons he imparted, and the love he so generously shared. The memories he created and the example he set will remain a source of comfort, strength, and inspiration to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Although Dwight’s earthly journey has ended, the love he shared and the legacy he leaves behind will never fade. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May his memory continue to inspire all who knew him to live with the same kindness, integrity, patience, faith, and unwavering love that he embodied throughout his life.
