Doug was my neighbor and a good friend even tho his loud motorcycle would wake me up early morning or late nights I always knew he was around he looked out for me was always there if I needed him ! Doug had the tough guy façade but he was a sensitive guy with a big heart down to earth loved his mother and daughter more than anything always talked of his love for them !! Doug was one of a kind he will be remembered and in my prayers for the rest of my life may he rock on in heaven till we meet again!!

I’ve known Dougie since he was a little kid. We were neighbors. He played with my kids. Frankie. Michael. Tommy and Sean. In those days the kids had a lot more freedom then now. The trevose gang. They’d run all day. End up in the creek floating almost to the river or walking the railroad tracks. Rode their bikes everywhere. I’d chase and yell at him the same as I did with my own kids . He loved to eat over. Swim in the pool. Always polite to me. Called me mom. As I ran into him as an adult he’d offer to help with anything. He went through rough seas and never blamed anyone for his issues. He was honest like that. I was so happy for him with his recovery this last year. We’d message each other. When I messaged him last week and he didn’t answer I knew something was wrong. Oh my adopted son I’ll pray for you. Love you. Mom G

I will always remember and cherish the time I had with Doug, he showed unconditional love to me and my family and children. He was so funny and my favorite memory is him chasing me down the street playfully in his robe and we were cracking up laughing for days about it. He was so full of life and loved so strongly and unconditionally. He will forever be missed.

Dougie introduced me to the blow dart gun at an early age (not a good idea) always Rember him , Tommy an me cutting school to hit Neshaminy creek to fish. Was just texting with him a month ago after he fixed my porch roof (of course him busting my balls about my roofing skills) going to miss him. gone way too soon

Dougie was truly such a great friend who never hesitated to listen, make you laugh, give advice, or just remind you how great you were doing. I already miss the daily reads you would send me because I did not have the book and I will never forget all the meetings we met up at and all of the talks we had. You always said a smile could change the day. I hope you are resting easy now. You will be greatly missed.
