Donna Sears
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Sears, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, on March 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on February 12, 1963, in Reading, PA, to Joyce (Kaufman) Germann and Edward Shuman.
Donna grew up in Berks County, graduated from Wilson High School, Penn State University, and Rider University with a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She worked for nearly 35 years at St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center as Director of Therapeutic Recreation and Joint Commission Compliance. Throughout her life, Donna was known for her bubbly personality and for being the life of the party. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and doing crafts.
Donna is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jeffrey, sons Derek (Bridget), Austin, and grandson, Nolan. Also surviving are her sister Justine, wife of Kenneth Rick, mother Joyce Germann, father Edward Shuman (Faye), and stepfather Irwin Rosner (Lana).
A celebration of life to honor Donna will be held at 11 AM on May 3rd, 2025, at Woodside Presbyterian Church in Yardley, PA.
