Donna Marie Mieciecki

Donna Marie Mieciecki, age 66, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 24, 1959, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mary Rudd (Mack) and Frederick Mieciecki.

Donna was always so kind to us. I was 16 when I first meet her and the family. The family tested me like one of them Everytime we spent time together. Donna was funny and had the best laugh. Mary her mom was always in the kitchen shoeing her love through her amazing food. My best memory was my first new years and numbers parade. Donna was with us along with little Donna and we had the best day. We are sending so much love and prayers to the entire family. Please know we love you all. Jay & Joni &JJ & Gianna 🩷

Oh beautiful Donna. You were my first best friend at age 6. We lived across the street from each other, played and went to grade school together. I spent many times at your house on Bodine Street. I can still see the painting on your wall going up the stairs that your grandfather did with the saying "Fred when are you going to finish me". At Christmas time your white tree took up the entire living room. We did plays in your basement for your parents. Joey and Billy joined in. We lost touch once you moved to South Philly and only seen each other on occasion. It's my loss. I have many memories of our time together and will hold them dear to my heart. Rest in peace my friend. xoxox

My sister was a fragile soul, carrying a weight the world never seemed to lighten. I remember her most from the early days when she was vibrant and beautiful—the way she’d grab my hand and take me on adventures, showing me a world she was still trying to find her own place in. As the years passed, life happened and she became distant, sometimes tortured by shadows only she had to face. Yet, even through those struggles, she left behind two miracles. The first was her daughter, a beautiful reflection of all the light she tried so hard to hold onto. The second was her final act: leaving this world so that others could stay. In the end, she transformed her pain into the ultimate kindness, turning her departure into a beginning for strangers. She was always giving pieces of herself away; now, she lives on in the very breath and heartbeats of the lives she saved.
