Denise A. Presock

Denise A. Presock

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Denise Ann Presock (née Kruger) on February 10, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born in Philadelphia on October 5th, 1953, she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Kruger (née Lutter), brother, Keith Kruger, and her husband, Charles H. Presock.

Denise is survived by her two daughters, Heather A. McIlhenny and her late spouse (Daniel) and Devon A. (James) McKenna. Cherished Grandmother and Nanny to Rylee Elizabeth McIlhenny, and James Joseph and Colin Daniel McKenna. Loving sister of Barbara McPhail and the late (Dave) and Robin Burpee and the late (George). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Our mother lived her life unapologetically. She never pretended to be anyone other than exactly who she was. With courage and determination in her heart, she was strong, fearless, and she faced life head on. She loved deeply, protected fiercely, and stood firm in her beliefs. She showed us that strength and tenderness can exist side by side. Although she is no longer with us, her voice and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to her memorial gathering and funeral on Tuesday, February 17th, McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts) You may visit and comfort Denise’s family from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. There will be a prayer service starting at 11:00 am. Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of her family.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Fox Chase Cancer Center or Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in her name to honor her.
