David Robert Grant “Dave”

David Robert Grant “Dave,” of Northeast Philadelphia, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family, on May 4, 2024, at the age of 68. Son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth Grant. Beloved husband of 13 years to Rosa Pereira. Loving father of Lori (Marc), David, Rosa (Jose) and Ray (Judy). Cherished pop pop of 10 grandchildren. Brother of Edward (Rita), Beth and Karen (Bob). He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his cousin Harry (Kelly), who he loved like a brother. All are invited to Dave’s memorial on Monday May 13th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 9:30am-11:00am. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Dave’s name to Fox Chase Cancer Center.

  1. Dave was one of the most Positive person I know. He would never complain, he always said the bad is staring at you. Look behind it, there is always good behind the bad. Look past the bad for the Good.
    He will be sadly missed here at Woodhaven. Fly High My Good Friend.! You will always be remembered.
