Dave was my neighbor for the past 8 years. He was such a nice guy! We always hung out chatting when we would see each other outside, laughing and telling stories. We would go up to the Metro Diner for their cheeseburgers a few times a year, and play the slots at Parx Casino when we have $40 to blow!! We always laughed so hard while we lost!! LOL! He was a good friend. When I had to put my beautiful dog, River to sleep, Dave came over that night and we got blitzed on wine. He let me cry on his shoulder with his arm around me, comforting me. I soaked his shirt, and he didn't mind. He was that kind of a guy. A real gentle soul. He was always helpful, getting my Christmas Tree up the stairs, and carrying my 60 pound bags of dog food upstairs whenever he saw my Chewy delivery. He used to over and helped decorate my tree. I really missed him this year - it wasn't the same. RIP my good friend, I loved you Dave!!
