Charles J. Delaney, of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away at home on January 24, 2025, at age 78. Beloved husband of the late, Kathleen Delaney. Loving father of Colleen Butter and Matthew Delaney (Katie). Devoted grandfather of Zachary Butter, Alexandria Butter, Kaylie Delaney, Mischa Delaney. Also survived by three brothers, Robert Delaney (Joyce), John Delaney (Angie), Andrew Delaney (Kathy). Sadly missed by his cousin, Barbara Lynch. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation and memorial on Wednesday, February 5, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a eulogy service starting at 11:00 am.
