Cesar José Romero, Sr.
Cesar José Romero, Sr., age 74, passed away on May 18, 2026. Loving father of Lisa Lopez (Jesus), Nilsa Romero (Miguel), Cesar Romero, Jr., and Magdelis Rice (James). Also survived by the mother of his children, Hilda, nine grandchildren, and seven great grand children. Sadly missed by 4 brothers and sisters, preceded in death by one grandchild and five siblings. Family and friends are invited to attend Cesar’s viewing and funeral on Monday, June 1st, at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc., 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts). You may visit and comfort Cesar’s family from 9:30 am – 11:00 am in the funeral home. There will be a prayer service starting at 11:00 am. Further arrangements will be held in his homeland, Puerto Rico.
Papi , I love and miss you . I’ll forever miss hearing your favorite word to yell which is “ELY” ! I’ll miss you telling me 20 times that the boys are doing something they should not be doing . It feels like you’re on vacation we are waiting to you to get back . I’ll forever have flash backs of our last wildwood trip you were saying it was too cold but wanted a cold Icecream then you wandered off and we were going crazy trying to find you lol oh every time you heard the train cars coming you would shield the kids for safety . Coly the boys and I will continue fishing in your honor . Until we meet again pa . Te queiro tanto -Mileena !
