Catherine Merriman
Catherine Merriman, of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away at home, surrounded by those that loved her on April 21, 2025, at age 65. Loving wife of David Taylor. Beloved mother of Dana Taylor (Greg) and Christopher Taylor (Lauren). Also survived by her grandchildren, Gregory Oprea and Christopher Taylor, as well as her siblings, Kimberly Merriman , Marcel Merriman, and the late Debra Merriman and Beverly Merriman. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Catherine was born and raised in Philadelphia, loved the summer season and spending time at the Jersey shore. What brought Catherine the most joy was being a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Thursday, April 24, from 9:30 – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.

With how we fight for what's right and speak up about things that are wrong... But our heart was always in a good place either way... Trudy you was definitely one of a kind and if anyone messed with you or family you definitely let them know. I am glad that I was able to talk to you a few weeks ago but I heard it in your voice that you were ready to go and be with your loved ones. May your rest in peace. I am definitely gonna miss you saying hey Joey K how are you doing.
