There are so many memories of Bro. Tony and almost all of them make me giggle to myself. He was one of the most jovial ushers in FPPF history. He took his job serious but also always made funny remarks each time I entered or left the sanctuary. We all knew his love for sports and I don’t think a guest at church didn’t leave knowing he was from Philly. He was fully of life and love and had a heart for the “trouble makers” in our youth group. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Bro Tony, as my husband Hiram, and I, lovingly called him, was a good spirited man of God, with a great sense of humor. He would keep you laughing. He loved the Lord and was a true servant. We met at FPPF church, where he was a dedicated usher. Bro Tony will be sorely missed by those whose lives he touched.

I didn't know Tony really well. I met him when I started to attend and serve as security at The Block Church about a year ago. He was always so pleasant greeting everyone as they entered. Always with a smile and a good morning. He seemed to know everyone and was always talking to someone. I became friendly with Mary his wife. So sweet and such a good person. I felt really bad when Tony became ill. Mary loved him so much and took such good care of him through his illness. I will continue praying for Mary during this difficult time of healing. Jesus has you now Tony. No more sorrow. No more pain. You will be missed by many.

I will never forget pop’s Tony! He was always kind to me and called me son. I will miss his laughter and his humor as he was a jokester. I called him pop’s because he treated me more like a son than a brother.
He has fought a good fight and has finished his course and has kept the faith and have received his crown which will mot fade away
Although I’m saddened that he’s not here among us anymore but I’m rejoicing knowing that he’s more alive than he’s ever been and is ruling amd reigning with Christ! Until we meet again pop’s from your spiritual son!
Tony was the best husband and father in the world . He cared about everyone

Sadly, we were just getting to know Tony only a about a year before we moved, but he always seemed like such a sweet guy. I knew he loved his Phillies, his Eagles, and most of all, his family. I don’t think Tony had a mean bone in his body; a very rare thing these days. He will be missed by everyone who knew him, no matter how long, or how briefly. We’ll see you again someday, Tony, but for now – Safe journey.
I dont care where Tony was invited he was an usher. Im sure he will be ushering into God’s presence.
We loved & will continue to love Bro Tony. We sure did enjoy having him at City Church. Always fun and funny and willing to serve. Some of our greatest joys was to see him worshipping, dancing and praying in the Holy Ghost. Love and prayers for all the family
What a great guy. A true Philadelphia sports fan and supporter of the Special Olympics guys. He spent the final years of his life giving back and supporting others. Truly special.
Tony will be missed by so many. A true Phily Sports Fan of all the teams. He was a proud member of the Tacony Community wirh his volunteer work with the Tacony Town Watch. Tony is an angel watching over us all. If you knew Tony everyone he met was considered as a friend to him. Tony I know your going to be by my side when I walk down the aisle as you promised me you would be giving me away to the love of my love.
My deepest sympathy to the Muzzine family! May he rest in peace 🙏🌹🙏

Tony my guy truly sad ur gone u are my guy (like u always say go eagles) my condolences to his family may god bless u guys threw this rough time
Papa Tony’s exciting energy was extremely contagious and encouraging. We had the love of our team the Eagles in common. You will be missed Papa Tony.
Big Tony entered my life when I was 12. My father wasn’t in the picture, and I had very few male role models to look up to. Then Big Tony—whom I called Pop’s—stepped in with open arms. I’d never met a man more devoted to his family and to his church.
He welcomed me into his home like a son. I’d grab his snacks, sip his sodas, and crash at his house whenever I could. In his presence, I never felt like I didn’t belong.
Pop’s, I love you, and I’ll always be grateful for how you helped me understand what it means to be a man.
Tony was my buddy. I am going to really miss him. He always made me feel so welcome at church (the best greeter)! My favorite memory of Tony was when I was serving hot dogs, and he asked for sauerkraut. Unfortunately, we did not have any sauerkraut – he said, “A hot dog isn’t a hot dog without sauerkraut!” Tony will be greatly missed. My prayers are with Mary and the Munizza family. May God grant you peace and comfort.
Tony was a wonderful person. He was caring, funny, and down to earth. He and Mary were my second family when I lived in Philadelphia. May he rest in peace.
Brother Tony was a Great guy, proud Father, Grandfather, Godfather and a devoted Man of God who loved his church. He definitely was one of Philly’s favorite sons because he repped Philly everywhere he went, even at church. I remember back when the Eagles won the super bowl and he came to FPPF Church “Eagled Down”, the socks, the pants the jersey, the hat, lanyard and matching gloves. I think he even had the shoes too. My Pastor was preaching, saw Tony come in and he was amazed and called him up to the front. Tony came down the aisle strutting with his eagles gear on, the whole church stood clapping and cheering for him. He was a character but he’d light up a room anywhere he went. He loved his wife Mary, his Family too but most of all ,He loved the Lord. Rest In Peace Tony, see you on the other Shore.
Words don’t give justice to how great this man was to me and my family. As a single mom the world seemed too vast to maneuver in, I was being pressed in every direction, then the Munizza’s caught site of my little girl and never let her go! Her Honorary God Parents for life. Tony became so protective over us both. He loved without abandon. He was a true example of God the Father, kind, caring, understanding, nonjudgmental, and just the BEST! Wish I had done more to see him, but praying he knew how much I loved him! Until we meet again ♥️.
Tony will always be remembered for the warmth he brought to TBC each Sunday. As a greeter, he stood at the door with the most welcoming smile, often wearing his Eagles jersey, and greeted everyone with such genuine kindness. He had a special way of making people feel comfortable right away and he made my family feel truly welcome from the moment we first came. He will be deeply missed. Heartfelt condolences to his family.
You are the sweetest angel in heaven we will miss you dearly I will miss your smile and your good morning hugs on Sundays. Xoxo
Tony (meatball ) to those whi worked at stone with you. You will be missed. You were a fun man to work with and a good friend.
I love you Godpop, thank you for always keeping a smile on my face and looking out for us! We’ll miss you dearly💗
Mr. Tony was the first person I met when my neice told me that she found her new home. After parking my car on the street, Mr. Tony was sitting on the steps and could see that I was concerned about where I parked. He looked at me and told me not to worry. He and Mrs. Mary looked out for my neice every day since then🙏🏽 They were the perfect neighbors! Mr. Tony took care of everything outside her home. I never had to “worry” about my neice because to knew Mr. Tony was looking out for her and I thank him for that. Mrs. Mary God will continue to look for you. I pray God’s peace and blessings to you during this time. God bless Mr. Tony’s soul🙏🏽
