Michael A. Pinson of Philadelphia PA, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the age of 67, after a 6 month battle with lung cancer. He was born on November 13, 1956, in Columbus, GA to the late Carlton Pinson and Mary (nee Ashmore). Michael graduated from Dobbins Technical High School. He was a master pressman and worked for a number of printers over his 27-year career. Michael also worked for the School District of Philadelphia at Swenson Technical High School where he made an impact on many students’ lives while also working part time at ShopRite in the meat department and was known to lend a helping hand throughout the store.

He enjoyed playing pinochle and going to the casinos with his wife and was an avid Eagles fan win or lose. Michael loved cooking for his family daily and on the weekends he was the center of the cook-out in his backyard. He also enjoyed spending time in Wildwood with his family.
Laughter was most important to Michael.
He was known for his dad jokes and his beautiful smile, which will be missed dearly.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held in the near future. We love you, Babe, Pops and PawPaw.
