William E. Gillen

William E. Gillen, formerly of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away August 9th, 2022, at age 79. Beloved husband of Rosemary Gillen (nee Patterson). Loving father of William Gillen (Gina) and Suzanne Backlycki (Michael) Devoted grandfather of Brianna, Bradley, Alyssa and Michael. Brother of Peggy Kushner (Sam), Richard Gillen (Nancy), Joseph Gillen (Christine). Predeceased by 5 brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Wednesday, August 17th from 9:00am – 10:30am in St. Timothy RC Church (3001 Levick St. Phila., PA 19149) There will be a funeral mass at 10:30am with burial to follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
