Thomas Lee Gentry

Thomas Lee Gentry was born August 3, 1987, in Honolulu, HI. It is estimated he passed away sometime in the beginning of January 2026 in his home in Philadelphia. He brought much love, laughter, intelligence, wit, and generosity to everyone and anyone. He loved music, movies, nature, peace and love, traveling, helping people & constantly learning new things. His level of intelligence was beyond most of our comprehension. He was a self-taught computer coder and an avid ‘Book Worm’. As an empath, his heart felt every pain, every stress of this world, and he wanted so much to make it a better, peaceful, loving place. And he strived for that until he could no longer.

He is survived by his loving family: Parents: Dorothy and Gary Kreamer; Brother and wife: Timothy and Brittany Gentry; Aunt: Mary Anne Mccaffrey; Uncle: Joe Horvath(Lori) Cousins: Joseph, Lance, John Mccaffrey (and his 3 boys Johnny, Benjamin and Liam); his PopPop: Amiel Horvath; his so very loved cat Huma; and many, many friends. He is preceded in death by his Grandmom, Ruth Horvath. A celebration of his life will be held at Calvary Church, 820 PA-113, Souderton, PA 18964, Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Followed by a service at 11:00 am.

Dorothy, I’m so sorry about Tom’s passing and would’ve been at the service but am fighting Stage 4 right now. You obviously raised an incredible human being and what a gift he was to the world. I’m sorry you have to mourn him; I can’t imagine the pain. But I am glad he’s free from the cares of this world which are so hard for empaths to bear. In time, may the sadness lessen and only the dearest of memories remain.

Dorothy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember embarrassing Tom when I told him he was good looking. Heaven has an angel now.

Myself and many others who worked with Thomas were devastated when we heard of his passing. As we shared our grief with each other at work, a very common conclusion was made. Thomas was so kind, thoughtful, thorough, and most importantly cared deeply for the people around him. These things are clear to all of us who worked with him daily. I'm so sorry for your loss. We will miss him.

I will always remember the photograph of a kind gentle soul holding that kitten. I never met Tommy, but wish I had! Dorothy. You are a special mother, who brought up such a sensitive son who loved people enough to take up their cause! You should be proud!

Tom was truly one of a kind and I’m so lucky to have called him my friend. I will forever miss his goofy texts at random hours sharing whatever his latest thoughts and ideas were. Tom always made me laugh. He was insanely smart and just so kind. My heart hurts knowing the world lost such a great guy. Rest in peace, Tom. Thank you for being my friend ♥️ – Squirm

Tom will surely be missed by many. I recall some great conversations with him. His intelligence astounded me. May he rest in peace and not feel like he has to carry the weight of the world any longer.❤️🙏
