Thomas Kopacz “Stosh” of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away on September 27th, 2025, at age 71. Beloved husband of the late, Deborah Kopacz. Loving father of Tommy Kopacz (Nicole), Desiree Kopacz and Angelique Kopacz (Matt Graber), Grandpa Stosh to Cole, Ethan and Jude. Predeceased by his brother, Donald Kopacz. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial and funeral on Wednesday, October 8th from 9:30am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service at 11:00am Further arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. Kindly omit flowers and consider doantions in Stosh’s memory to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Knit was one of a kind we always talked from the day he became my brother in law and even after he became my ex brother in law he could make me laugh and I will miss him ,Xmas eve will be different without him and his laughter !!My thoughts and love are with Tom,Nicole, Desiree and Angelique ,Matt today!
He taught me all the tricks on fixing things around the house and was always there for my biggest moments. He’ll forever be missed, thanksgiving will never be the same.
Stosh was a great guy not only to me but to my family. He taught me a lot things that I’ll carry on, especially when it came to house remodeling. Appreciate everything he did and he’ll be missed
Stosh was one of the nicest kindest me. Iv come across I was he bartender for years he tracked few places I worked to come support always had ear to listen my rants n give me best horses to bet at derby uncle stosh I called him u will truely be missed I pray ur at peace in ur resting place 🙏🙏🤍
Stosh and I would go a year without speaking or seeing each other and every time we’d make contact it was catch up time. We’d stand and chat for an hour or more. Yet it was so familiar. That feeling like we see each other every day and we’re the closest friends. Stosh always made me feel appreciated. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. My thoughts and prayers are with you Angelique, Desiree, and Tommy. Xoxo

There are way too many memories to type here. I know that we will all keep your memories alive. I just keep hearing you saying in my head “come on now”. You were one of a kind! You would always say my house is cursed, but you always found a way to fix things and make light of the worst situations. You always made me laugh. It’s never going to be the same without you.
