Steven P. Barchman

Steven P. Barchman, of Northeast Philadelphia, sadly passed away April 13, 2023, at the age of 74. Loving husband of Donna Barchman. Dedicated dad of Stacy (Ron), Kathy, Dennis and Angel. Pop pop of Savannah, Denny, Tori, A.J and the late Lil’ Eddie. Brother of Jerry, Tom, Rich, Kathy and Beth; and son of Mary. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Steven’s life on Friday April 21st at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort Steven’s family during his viewing from 9:30AM-11:00AM. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Steven, also known as “Septa Steve,” worked for Septa as a bus and trolley driver for 36 years. In his spare time he enjoyed trains, fishing, playing music (especially the tambourine) and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
