Sharon Phelan, passed away on October 3, 2023 at age 68 after a brave struggle with cancer. She worked for 26 years with social service organizations, first JEVS Human Services (1985-1990) and then PATH (People Acting to Help, Inc.) (1990-2011), where she was dedicated to helping adults with intellectual disabilities achieve an independent and fulfilling life. She was a woman of deep Christian faith and a member of the City Church of Philadelphia, “The Main Thing Movement.” She was predeceased by her life partner James Pritchard and her mother Margo Phelan. Sharon was a loving mother to three daughters:  Katie, Tomina and the late Holly; devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren:  Nicholas, Mekhi, Kenyon, Maya, Avery, Alexander, Colin and Grayson, as well as the late Aiden and Logan. Proud great-grandmother to Marley. She is also survived by her sister Barbara, sister-in-law Janet, and her many loyal friends. Sharon had a wry sense of humor, a sparkling spirit of fun and a generous, loving nature. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
