Russell Samuel Candy

Russell Samuel Candy, lifelong resident of Philadelphia, passed away March 26, 2024, at the age of 61. Russell was a dedicated church member of All Saints Episcopal Church. The family takes great comfort in knowing that Russell’s wishes, to be reunited with his loving and devoted husband, James Gaynor “Michael”, have been fulfilled. Son of the late Norma and Samuel Candy. Father of Christopher Candy (Sarah). Grandfather of Jackson and Cheyenne. Brother of the late Martin. He leaves behind his loving sister, Margaret, as well as his beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. All are invited to Russell’s visitation and funeral Tuesday April 2nd at All Saints Episcopal Church (9601 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19114) from 9:30am-10:30am. There will be a service in the church at 10:30am. Burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery. Please omit flowers and make donations in Russell’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
