Patricia Ann Bossert

Patricia Ann Bossert (nee Anderson) passed away on October 21, 2025 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Patricia was born to Anne and Alfred Anderson. She attended St. Monica’s, St Timothy’s and St. Hubert’s high school. In her earlier years, she worked for Grants and as a teller at Fidelity Bank before leaving to raise her children. She spent many years actively volunteering in St. Timothy’s Parish, serving as a member of the Legion of Mary, as a teacher’s aide in the parish school, Cub Scout Den Mother and as a teacher in its CCD program. She worked as a teacher’s aide at Forrest School for the PSD. Patricia was a true bibliophile. She doted on her grandchildren–helping to care for them and instilling in them a love of literature, imagination, and their Catholic faith.

Patricia is remembered as an extra fine lady by her loving husband of 58 years, A. Raymond Bossert II. She was a cherished mother to Melissa Prushan (Michael) and Ray Bossert (Kate), and an adored MeMom to Emma, Elisabeth, Fisher, and Camilla. Patricia was sister to Alfred Anderson (deceased) Bill Horan (Judy), and Terri Horan and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. All are invited to attend Patricia’s graveside prayer service on Monday October 27, at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem, Pa 19020. Please arrive at the cemetery by 11:30am, where the procession will form and then proceed over to the grave.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the  Saint Margaret of  Costello Maternity Home https://smocmaternityhome.org/

Pat was one of the first people I met when I moved into my house over 30 years ago. She instantly became someone I considered a friend. Over the years she became so much more, she became family. I wish I wrote down the history of the neighborhood when she would tell me stories. I am so blessed for having known her and I will miss her terribly.

Pat was a very fine lady. I had the pleasure of interacting with her many many times over the years. She always had something nice to say, a kind word, and made the room light up when she arrived. I feel that I have been blessed to meet this kind soul. She will not only be missed by her family, but many others that she touched.

Pat was a very fine lady. Spoke well, and respected others. I was blessed to visit with her in a dental office that I worked at. She always brought a smile to my face when she walked in. She will be missed, not only by her family, but other lives she touched.

I worked with Pat at Fidelity Bank in 1970. She was in my wedding Aug 1970. I lost touch with her and often thought of her as I passed her family home . Since sympathy and prayers to her family .

Aunt Pattie was a wonderful woman. I never knew her to be other than kind and friendly to her family and everyone she met.

My mother was a true angel on earth. She was extremely smart, compassionate, kind and patient. She took great care of everyone around her. She was my strength and my wind. She and I would talk at least three times a day every day. My favorite memories include going dress shopping (always wanted me to include a bow somewhere, the Legion of Mary meetings, watching Pride and Prejudice together, learning about our family history, spending time with my girls. I am going to miss her so much, but I know she with God, her Dad who she missed so much, her Mom and all those who went before. I am who I am because of her.

I have known Pat for a very long time. It was always so nice to hear her warm greetings and always caring conversations. It was even nicer when I was blessed to be her two darling granddaughters preschool teacher. She always talked so happily about her children, grandchildren and family. She will be missed.
