Moira Peters (nee Maloney) 55 year resident of the Tacony section, born in Ireland ( Ardara, County of Donegal) passed away after a long illness, on June 5, 2023, at age 85. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Peters, Sr. Loving mother of Edward A. Peters, Jean Vizza (John), Maryellen McKenna – Smith (Keith), John F. Peters (Bridget) and Thomas P. Peters (Cara). Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters, Jeannie Colbert (Daniel), Beatrice McDevitt (Connell), predeceased by her brother, John Francis Maloney (the late Lily) Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Monday, June 12 in Our Lady of Calvary RC Church (11024 Knights Rd. Phila) You may visit and comfort Moira’s family during the viewing from 9:30am – 11:30am in the church. Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
