Michele.. I will miss you tremendously. You were a great and true friend for many years. We lost touch for a bit, but we always kept the line open. My kids thought of you as a special person that always had your heart. There were so many times you helped me and the kids through difficult times. Danny, as well. I will miss our long conversations and giggling about anything we could. I love you! ❤️ I will see you again. Your children and grandchildren are a remarkable reflection of the person you were. Just amazing!

It had been a few years since I had seen Michele, when I bumped into her family while I was taking my daughter out for dinner for a celebration of completing school. It was a really nice, but brief exchange of hellos, and promises to catch up soon. Her family had almost finished when we arrived, and we left some time later, I learned that she had picked up our bill. And that is EXACTLY the kind of person Michele was- she spread her light everywhere, for no reason other than spreading it. We did spend the better part of the next decade catching up, and I am a better person for having known her. What a remarkable human.
