Michael J. Melso, age 50, passed away on April 19, 2024. Loving father of Ava Rose. Devoted son of Josefina Perez Gonzalez and Joseph Albert Melso. Beloved brother of Joseph Melso, Dorene Rivas, Donna Ramirez, Joseph McColgan, and the late Jose Aponte. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Monday, April 29, from 9:00am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a prayer service at 11:00 am. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations to Michael’s family to help set up an education fund for his daughter, Ava.

Since we were kids... we never lost touch for long. Years would go by but we could always pick up like it was yesterday. I did not go to your service because I could not have that as my last memory. I can't keep in touch anymore but I hope one day to see you again. I talk to you every chance I get and I wish you could respond back. You are severely missed and forever in my heart.
