I remember Mike as one of the smartest most fun kids I’ve had the privilege to get to know! His resilience in the face of unimaginable adversity and challenges always inspired me and his resourcefulness in finding any way to communicate impressed me beyond words. I learned a lot about hope and unconditional love from the life of Michael and he inspired me to be a better parent and nurse to Mia too. God bless you buddy, every time I hear the Paw Patrol I remember how much fun we used to have ! Songs, stories, beach trips, pool days, Christmas and birthdays. It was a blast buddy love you 😘

I say goodbye to someone who taught me more about strength, grace, and resilience than any textbook or training ever could. He wasn’t just my patient, he was my friend, a fighter, and a light whenever you entered the room he was in. Michael met each day with a spirit that inspired everyone around him. His little laugh, that shook his whole body, was contagious, his heart was pure, and his determination never wavered. Being your nurse was an honor, but knowing you was a gift. You reminded me daily why I chose this path—to care, to connect, to witness the beauty in every human spirit. You may have had a body that struggled, but your soul soared. Rest peacefully now,Michael, you've more than earned it. Forever in my heart! Love you Michael.

My sincere condolences to Gina and family. I was one of Michael teachers and my fondest memory was when he would use ipad to express how he felt about school.

My favorite memory was when .Gina and Brielle were talking about it being my birthday and Michael FaceTimed me on his own from his tablet. He was my secret keeper and I will miss him! Until we meet again xox
