Mayra Purcell
Mayra Purcell, of North Philly, passed away on September 15th, 2025, at age 66. Beloved wife of William Purcell for 32 years. Loving mother of Louis Montalvo, Gloria Montalvo, Edilberto Lopez, Lacey Purcell and William Purcell, Jr. Devoted grandma of 13 and great grandmother of 11. Daughter of Manuel Gerena and late, Juanita Gerena. Sadly missed by seven brothers and sisters as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Tuesday, September 23rd, from 9:30am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts) There will be a service at 11:00am. Further arrangements will be held in private by Mayra’s family

I met Myra and many members of her family. since I started working at Dollar General DGX she was such a warm loving person and I knew God brought her into my life for a reason help family also.
