MaryAnn Garuffe (née Baccile) of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, longtime parishioner of St. Timothy parish, passed away on December 8, 2023, at age 85. Beloved wife of the late Charles “Chalie” Garuffe. Loving mother of Michele Garuffe-Fagan (Michael) and Chaz Garuffe. Devoted grandmother of Corinne Garuffe, Megan Garuffe, Jake Fagan and the late Chase Garuffe. Sadly missed by her in-laws, Barbara and Drew Clark, her four nephews and many friends. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation and funeral on Friday, December 15, from 9:00am – 10:30am in St. Timothy RC Church, (3001 Levick st.) There will be a funeral mass at 10:30am Entombment will take place at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery where both Chalie and MaryAnn will be laid to rest together. Please omit flowers and kindly consider donations in MaryAnn’s memory to the American Lung Association or to a charity of your choice. In keeping with MaryAnn’s request and spirit, please wear joyfully colored clothing.
