Marie Elaine Fritz
Marie Elaine Fritz (nee Massaro) of East Torresdale, sadly passed away on September 23, 2024, at age 82. Beloved wife of the late Edwin M. Fritz. Loving mother of Beth Agnew (Gordon) and Brian Fritz (Kristy Fischer). Devoted grandmother of Lauren. Also survived by her brother, Anthony Massaro (the late Dolores) and her sister, Kathleen Massaro. Loving aunt of Toni, Tina and Michael. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Tuesday, October 1, from 9:30am – 10:30am in St. Katherine of Sienna RC Church 9700 Frankford Ave. There will be a funeral mass starting at 10:30am with burial to follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. I met Marie when we first started Nose Work classes together. She was always cheerful and never complained, despite her physical issues. My dog and Becca loved each other and were always excited to see one another. I’d post photos on Facebook when my dog would get a ribbon in Nose Work and Marie would never fail to comment. She will be missed.
