Louise Ann Gildein (Weaver) of Philadelphia, PA. passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2023; she was 80 years old. Louise was born in Dover, Delaware on March 24th 1943, to Anna Wood and Phares Weaver. Louise was the youngest of 4 children. Early in her career, Louise worked as a bookbinder in Philadelphia. She married Alfred Gildein Sr. June 12th 1971; they were married 41 years. In 1972 Louise became a devoted mother and housewife with the birth of their son Alfred Gildein Jr. Louise had a witty sense of humor and was always found with a smile on her face. She loved her family and helped care for her nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her husband, sister, Helen Weaver, and brothers Charles and Francis Weaver. Louise is survived by her son, Alfred Gildein, Jr. and his fiancée Brandy Bishop, many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and her much loved caregiver, Richcellee Aiken. In keeping with her wishes, Louise will be cremated. Services will be held at a later date.
