Linda Elaine Allridge

Linda Elaine Allridge, a woman who lived life on her own terms and never apologized for it, performed the ultimate Irish Exit on March 17, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 6, 1949, Linda was a force of nature from the start, a rule-breaker with a twinkle in her eye and a song in her heart.

If you knew Linda, you knew laughter. She was funny, outspoken, and the undisputed life of the party. Her charisma was undeniable, even if she was, self-proclaimed: slightly vain. Linda was stubborn, fierce, and independent, qualities that served her well as she navigated life’s adventures.

A loving and caring woman who cherished her roles as a mom, mom-mom, sister, cousin, aunt, daughter, and friend. She loved astrology, music, singing, and dancing, and she never missed an opportunity to share her passions with those around her. Be warned, though, if you asked her a simple question, you were likely to get one of her famously long stories in return!

Boy-crazy and always up for a good time, Linda lived by her own rules and encouraged others to do the same. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Violet, and her brother, Charles, Linda is survived by her son Eric and daughter-in-law, Michelle, daughter Lynn, grandson Jake, sister Kathleen, many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.

Don’t worry Linda, we know you are not an early riser, you can rest while we celebrate you on March 29th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM with a service to follow at 10:30 AM. Please join us in wearing one of Linda’s favorite colors, yellow and purple; or pull a Linda and wear both!
